This category contains Landscapes and Night Photography. Many times I use a wide-angle lens (Nikon 20mm), however, I might take landscapes on other lenses as well. This category also contains my "version" of Street Photography. as well as possible black and white photography which sometimes strikes my fancy.

The area called Hawks Nest is a winding road in NY between Hancock and Port Jervis. Beautiful!

This stunning night photograph captures the Bodie Island Lighthouse standing tall under a brilliant, star-filled sky. A long wooden boardwalk in the foreground creates a strong leading line, drawing the eye through a dark marshy landscape toward the glowing beacon. Above the horizontally striped black-and-white structure, the vibrant dust clouds and stars of the Milky Way galaxy stretch vertically into the upper atmosphere, creating a dramatic and serene coastal composition.

Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) provides a fantastic set of parks and recreation areas. This gazebo taken in March 2026 with blossoming trees was spactacular.
